WISD early voting to start Monday, April 24


Whitehouse Independent School District will see a race for Place 3 on the Board of Trustees come May 6. Early voting begins April 24.

The contested race is between long-time trustee Darrell Crymes and Dr. Joseph Conflitti.

The other places up for election were Place 1, currently held by Dr. Todd Raabe and Place 2, held by Dr. Howard Patterson. They drew no competition.

Early voting for the May 6 election is set for April 24-May 2. Here is a list of the Smith County polling locations and a breakdown of the times and dates for casting a ballot early.

Monday-Friday April 24-28 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Monday-Tuesday May 1-2 7 a.m.- 7 p.m.

Main early voting location:                                  

 R.B. Hubbard Center, “The Hub” - Smith County Elections Office, 304 East Ferguson Street, Tyler

Additional early voting locations:

Heritage Building, 1900 Bellwood Road, Tyler

Whitehouse Municipal Court, 311 East Main Street, Whitehouse

 Noonday Community Center, 16662 County Road 196, Tyler
