Thank you Whitehouse

The Whitehouse Food Pantry was able to provide turkeys, hams, canned goods, toys, filled Christmas stockings and smiles for so many of our families in need because of the generous and loving hearts of our community. We want to thank all of you who contributed so that we could make it happen.

We want to especially thank the schools of Whitehouse ISD, churches and organizations for their help with Project Joy in collecting food and the buying of toys that were delivered to homes under the direction of Anthony Johnson. We do not have all of the names and wish we could thank everyone here. We can thank attorney Chad Parker, Brookshire’s, Holly Hightower, Karla Gilbert, the Roquemores, the Morrisons, the Grays, the Hugheys, Zebeon and the guys from Cal Tech, Trail Life USA and Adam Brown, the American Heritage Girls, Gloria Gabriel and the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors, Apache Construction, our precious churches of Whitehouse for their prayers and volunteers, and the Sunday Schools and those parishioners who donate and volunteered so that we can continue to do the work we are in all year long. So many businesses in Whitehouse allow us to sit out jars for donations.

Thank you all for being on this mission with us. We wish we could mention everyone here, but we know who many of you are, and for those we do not, may God bless. You have been a light to so many and you cannot possibly imagine what your donations and helping hands do for us.

We have a great community of loving hearts, and that is what it takes for us to meet the needs of those who need us: the children in WISD and senior citizens of Whitehouse who are in need are our priority, and we have many.

Please do not forget that in order for us to keep our doors open we really need the support. For those families that are struggling, we try to bring a ray of hope and God’s love into their homes. We are always in need of peanut better, cereal, fruit cups and canned pasta for our children.

Our doors are open on Monday and Thursday morning until noon and we are located on Hwy 110 across from Burger King. Give us a call at (903) 839-6769.
