Smith County grand jury releases indictments

Reports from the 241st Judicial District Court show indictments for several in the area. Those names listed were from the Grand Jury meetings from Jan. 26 through Feb. 9.

Myron Austin, 54, of Troup was indicted for Burglary of a Building. Co-defendants in this indictment were Patrick Calley, 34; Tobian Rudolph, 45 and Gregory Garrett, 49 all of Troup. Calley’s indictment was on two counts of Burglary of a Building as well as Theft. Garrett also had two counts of Burglary of a Building.

Donald Mowery, 44, of Arp was charged and indicted for the offense of Burglary of a Building. He was arrested by Troup PD on Oct. 5, 2015.

Clinton Lewis, 33, of Whitehouse was indicted on several counts of Burglary of a Vehicle, Theft of a Firearm and Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse. He remains in the Smith County Jail with bail set at $45,000 on the eight counts.

Caitlyn Donald and Bambi Decroix were listed as co-defendants along with Lewis.

Lativia Wade, 23, of Whitehouse was indicted for her alleged part in the Oct. 1, 2016 Burglary of a Habitation. Co-defendants listed were Jaelyn Allen, Lashumeica Hicks, Tony Kemp and Martez Woods.
