“Wake the neighbors! Get the word out! Come on, crank up the music, climb a mountain and shout! This is life we’ve been given, made to be lived out … so live out loud.”
It’s a good thing that there is not much on my mind today as there is not much room to tell it. I really don’t mind sharing the page with folks who have something to say and who say it so well.
We are all allotted X number of days on this earth. They say we should use them wisely and for the good of others, for mankind’s sake.
Others might say you should live each day as if it were your last. Take a risk. Dance like nobody’s watching. Eat, drink and be merry!
I guess I’m somewhere in between those two extremes with my thinking of day to day life. These days I’m trying not to look too far ahead. I just get through today as well as I can, trying not to hurt anyone in the process and then tomorrow I can look at tomorrow.
I like setting goals and striving to reach them but I’m not as good at that as I once was. I don’t know if that’s a bad thing or a good thing. I’m not sure it really matters.
A sweet lady I know and respect had a very close call recently with what doctors had told her would be a simple procedure. As with anything medical, stuff happens.
We were all very concerned for her recovery and prayed fervently for her healing.
Her courage and God’s grace brought her home this past weekend and she sent out a great photo of her beautiful smile to let us know that she was home and was getting better each day.
Let’s keep in mind that there is always much to be thankful for.
