First Ladies earn several awards at line camp

The First Ladies drill team of Whitehouse ISD participated in team line camp during the first week of August and received many awards for their efforts. Lacey VanBuskirk, assistant Director of the First Ladies, says the girls did wonderful work.

Recipients of the All American Kick Company award were Karsen Conser, Sydney Creath, Meghan Orlowski and Abby Stainback. Karsen Conser also received the Miss High Kick award.

Gussie Nell Davis Dancers of the Week award winners were Abbi Ramsey, Elisabeth Haan and Bailey Hammond.

Spirit of ADTS recipients were Mackenzie Williams, Haylei White and Jade English.

ADTS Pizazz recipients were Angel Hare, Cydney Cobb and Ja’Niya Mitchell.

All American award recipients were Meghan Orlowski, Sydney Creath, Samantha Means, Julia Conflitti, Skylar Jones, Abbi Schoolcraft, Olivia Chennault, Karsen Conser, Ja’Niya Mitchell, Elisabeth Eckles, Chelsea Allen and Layla Grogan.

All American Honorable Mention recipients were Emma Stamps, Tess Hamilton, Maleah Kirk, Angel Hare, Abby Stainback, Alyssa Flores, Macie James and Grace Reagan.

All American Dance Company award winners were Karsen Conser, Sydney Creath and Skylar Jones. Karsen Conser also received an award for Outstanding Performer.

The First Ladies can be seen during the halftime shows at Whitehouse ISD football games. Their first performance of the season will be Friday, Sept. 1, at the Whitehouse vs. Hallsville game in Hallsville.
