Arp FFA, 4-H go to expo


Arp FFA and Arp 4-H members participated in the Smith County Youth Expo held Wednesday-Friday, Feb. 28-March 2, at Bullard High School.

In market steers, Reed Thorn, a student in FFA, took first place in English Weight Class 1. He placed second in the English Weight Class 1. Thorn also managed to place second in the Exotic Heifer Class 2 with his Maine Anjou.

In market barrows, Makennah Phillips placed third in Cross Weight Class 3.

Arp 4-H participants included Jarrod Hill who placed third with his market rabbit and Adam Marsh who placed fourth and 24th with his rabbits.
