With the Tenaha defense closing in on Ross, he received great blocks from tackles Cade Jones and Garrett Towery. Whitehouse defeated Hallsville for third place at the White Oak Tournament last week. The Ladycats advanced to the Championship Bracket after a successful run in pool play. more

The Whitehouse varsity tennis team won all 11 matches with Pine Tree in action last week. The junior varsity captured 10 of 15 matches in competition with Center. Whitehouse played at Lufkin Tuesday, Sept. 4, and will host Nacogdoches Tuesday, Sept. 11. more
The Troup Hilltop Country Club hosted the Senior Scramble Tuesday, Aug. 28, with 29 players. The team of Loye Beene, Morris Turner, Bernie Beam and David Alexander placed first at minus-13.
