In order to participate in athletics during the 2018-2019 school year, all students must have a physical performed by a doctor. Physicals are good for one year from the date they are performed. Students must have two forms, including the Pre-participation Physical Evaluation and Medical History and the Athletic Acknowledgement of forms completed and returned to the athletic trainer in order to participate. more
Hilltop Country Club in Troup hosted the Senior Scramble with 28 players Tuesday, July 17. The winning team of Jerry Massey, Chris Fredrick, Henry Edwards, Burt Yarborough, Bobby Burks and Bill Kyle posted a minus -16 for the scramble. more

Andrew Stevenson will be the new head coach for the Brownwood High School men and women’s soccer teams. “I’m really excited. Soccer has been a huge part of my life and I’ve always wanted to coach it,” Stevenson said. “It’s a passion for me.” more
Two Whitehouse athletes were named to the 2018 Tyler Morning Telegraph All-East Texas Baseball roster. Blake Beasley and Ashton Rogers received Honorable Mention to the roster. Rogers is a catcher for the Wildcats, while Beasley is a pitcher and infielder. The Player of the Year is Grayson Rodriguez of Nacogdoches Central Heights, and the Newcomer of the Year is Chase Hampton of Kilgore. Coach of the Year went to Eugene Lafitte of Kilgore. more
