Whitehouse High School had nine representatives selected by the Northeast Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes to participate in this year’s Heart Of A Champion All Star games.  The Whitehouse athletes include Connor Clark, Ryan Walls, Patrick Minor and Mason House in baseball; Kaylee Miller in softball; and Josh Deal, Kaleb Ford-Dement, Isaac Little, and Braylon Shackelford in football. more
It took nine trips to Austin to find gold. After placing second in the 2016 State Class-3A tournament, the Troup golf team soared to new heights at Grey Rock Golf Course in Austin last week. The Tigers claimed the State golf title after nine recent attempts in State competition. more
The 2017 Roy Lawrence Memorial Golf Tournament will be Monday, June 12. Lunch will start at noon, and a shotgun start will be at 1 p.m. at Hollytree Country Club in Tyler. The tournament will be a 4-person team scramble, 18-hole golf tournament benefiting The First Tee and the Whitehouse Parks and Recreation. Bring your own 4-person team or bring a friend and you will be placed on a team. more

Mason House was named the Most Valuable Player on the All-District 17-5A roster. House helped lead Whitehouse to a share of the District 17-5A championship, and into the second round of the State playoffs. House, a senior, paced the Whitehouse offense all season and helped the team ro a 22-7-1 season mark. He was a unanimous choice. more
