Volleyball player Jansen Reid took a team approach to her service project for National Honor Society. She has arranged for a volleyball clinic hosted by the Troup Lady Tigers’ volleyball team to be held on Saturday, Feb. 25. “Students were asked to derive their projects from their hearts, something that is meaningful to them and will be a service to the community,” NHS sponsor DeeAnn Berryhill said. “Their parents play a very supportive role in most situations too but it is their project and they are responsible for making it happen.” more
The Whitehouse ISD Education Foundation is preparing for their annual Taste of the Town, 6-9 p.m., Saturday, April 1 at Whitehouse High School. more
Elections were called for Troup ISD, Whitehouse ISD as well as the City of Troup to fill terms that will be up in May 2017. The Troup entities will forego an election as only one person filed for each position. WISD will have an election. more
