If you hear barking come from the big classroom at the end of Whitehouse High School vocational ed hallway do not be concerned. The dogs and other critters are regulars and are also the focus of the study that goes on there. Vet Med classes are lining up for Best in Show as the school year winds down. more
The First Ladies Drill Team participated in their final competition, ADTS National Championship, recently at the University of North Texas. They represented Whitehouse ISD and the community very well with all of their performances.  more

The Whitehouse High School majorettes are sponsoring a Twirl/Dance/Flag Competition on Saturday, April 8, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the high school with exhibition performances by the WHS majorettes, the Kilgore College Twirlers and the SFA Twirl-O-Jacks. more
rea high school horticulture classes have been planting and pruning, watering and waiting for the blooms of spring to sprout. It is now time for them to sell and make a new home in your garden. Troup FFA students have already opened their greenhouses to the public for their spring plant sale. The plants are cared for and nurtured by Troup FFA students and all proceeds go back in to the program. The greenhouse will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Friday. Troup’s sale concludes Saturday, April 8 and they will be open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. more
Troup Pre K and Kindergarten early registration for the year 2017-2018 has been scheduled for the week of April 3-7 at the registration office in the third-fifth grade building between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Paperwork will only be accepted during these times. more
