“Wake the neighbors! Get the word out! Come on, crank up the music, climb a mountain and shout! This is life we’ve been given, made to be lived out … so live out loud.” +++ more
Over the course of the twenty-plus years I have been married, my husband’s job has always been demanding. more
There’s never been a justifiable basis for Aggie jokes--then or now. Most Texas A&M University students and former students have always known such jokes are that, and nothing more. And a majority of the rest of us agree. In truth, Texas A&M is, was--and no doubt always will be--one of the nation’s most distinguished institutions. I guess they are the ones who would fall into the “bah-humbug” category. As for the rest of us, I guess we are either Christmas enthusiasts or we are just very efficient. more
In the world of sports broadcasting, the late Jack Buck--and son Joe--might best fit the “like father, like son” description. The former, known as the “Voice of the St. Louis Cardinals,” was revered throughout the nation, winning highest national awards in his career--one that bridged radio and television sports coverage. more
