Services for Mrs. Montez Easley, 69, of Lake Tyler, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29, at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson, Texas, with Bro. Gerald Edwards officiating. Mrs. Easley passed from this life on Sunday, March 25, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on October 31, 1948, in Lufkin to the late Grady and Helen (Seaton) Tubbleville. Mrs. Easley was a registered nurse who retired in December after over 47 years of serving in hospitals, home health, skilled nursing facilities and most recently as a nursing instructor for Kilgore Junior College. At her retirement party, it was said that she had taught over 4,000 students in the past years. more
