Community Activities CCGS to host seminar The Cherokee County Genealogical Society, in cooperation with the Rusk Public Library, will host a genealogical seminar from 9 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Saturday, March 3. Community Activities National Weather Service gives classes The Tyler Amateur Radio Club (TARC) and the East Texas Emergency Communication Service (ETECS) will host a National Weather Service (NWS) spotter training session on their Skywarn program. Basic and advance spotter classes will be given at the session beginning promptly at 6 p.m. and concluding at 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at Shiloh Road Church of Christ.
